杜鵑開花日,校友返校時。
為擴大參與,廣邀校友返校重聚同樂,2010臺大杜鵑花節主軸活動「校友卡拉OK聯誼大賽」辦法修改為1人就可報名!唱歌、賞花、兼拿禮品與獎金,懇請各位學長再次登高一呼,通知同學踴躍報名,盡情舒展歌喉,盡興話舊同歡,共詠杜鵑花城美麗風光。
活動時間:99年3月13日(星期六)上午10時至下午6時。
活動地點:臺大綜合體育館1樓教職員工文康活動中心。
比賽方式:校友1人報名(獨唱),另可邀請(至多5人,不限校友)組成啦啦隊。
演唱歌曲一首,5分鐘為限。唱歌前啦啦隊可以隊呼或其他方式的表
演以展現團隊精神。啦啦隊的表現將另予人氣鼓勵獎。
報名日期:即日起至99年3月5日或額滿為止。
評審:邀請知名專業人士擔任評審。
獎金:第一名,1人,獎金一萬元正。
第二名,1人,獎金八千元正 。
第三名,1人,獎金六千元正。
優選,3人,各得奬金二千元正。
另,活動當日,每位參賽者及啦啦隊均致贈具紀念性質的精美禮物1份,環保筷、臺大名產三明治冰淇淋&more,歡迎共襄盛舉!

Dear all,
At Cybele's lakeside home today, we had a fun and effective meeting. Thanks to her gourmet menu 紅豆燒餅, 85C雜糧麵包 , fresh brew Godiva coffee & tea , 滷蛋, 水果拼盤, 及....which did attract unexpected attendees, David 翁 夫婦 and a new friend 曹延傑 (1980經濟). It was our pleasure to meet 蔡湘寧(Shining Tsai) 小學妹(1996農化)and Cybele's husband 林裕祥Sean Lin (1978化工).
With all the male attendees' willingness to take risk and negotiate on-board, we have decided not to reserve additional cabins at present time since the current group rate is already high, more importantly, higher than the current on-line individual booking rate. The committee will review the registration status and watch the rate posted on the Carnival web site on an on-going basis.
David Wong will add the cabin-count to the on-line registration to avoid over booking.
Cybele will give the file of registration form and flyer to Richard who will update the changes.

那是因為臺灣重聚會的報名方式是向各系代表購買入場券的。
沒有報名表,報名名單也還沒更新,等想好如何更新再調整。

* We had pretty much finalized the Registration Form and Event Flyer
* We will take over the existing www.ntureunion.org web site as our reunion web site, with online registration that should help expedite the registration process and automate database transfer, but the payment will still need to come through the mail to David Wang's office for processing
* We had come up with the $10,000 deposit required by the cruise company to be able to book the lounge rooms
* We'll include both the 35th and 40th reunions for the classes of 1975 and 1970 in our flyer/registration form/web site, and any other official publications for the event
* We had decided the event souvenir to be a T-shirt and a CD, and items donated by alumni we deem appropriate. There are about 100 T-shirts left from previous reunion event that we'll use up first before we start making our own.
* We'll explore the appropriate place and time for the pre-boarding lunch with 林莉 and those that are interested in attending
* Our next meeting will be at David Wong's home in Laguna Hills on Jan 30, 2010
Action Items
* Elizabeth and Nicole will get a hold of the 35th & 40th reunion coordinators and their commitment for the event
* David Wong will start working with 陳海嫺 to build up the web site
* Sophie and Nicole will check with the cruise company regarding the availability of small game rooms and the number of lounge rooms we can reserve, visa matters (need to carry it onbaord or not, expiration date requirement, Mexican visa requirement), etc.
* Nicole will continue to develop the show program and schedule
* Sophie is to find the coordinator in San Francisco Bay area
* Sean is to try putting our flyer on NTUAASC website
* We need 林莉's help to provide us a contact list for all 44 departments
* We will all start promoting the cruise through the contact list
Sean, if you think this looks all right, could you do me a favor and send it over to 林莉 as well as those '75 and '70 coordinators and whomever you think need to see it?
I've been working all day with the online registration part of the web site. It's pretty much done (you can go and take a look if you want), using the old form they had left there as much as possible. Now I need to add a few new fields such as Birthday, Nationality, Visa Expiration Date, etc. that they didn't have there last year, without breaking anything, ha ha. Hope I can get it done before I leave for Taiwan Thursday.
